If you are a fishing enthusiast,
there will be fishing supplies available to try your luck
in the private pond located on the property. Of course, if you brought your own boat for fishing or otherwise enjoying nearby Patoka Lake, you can store it in the barn attached to the cabin.
Indiana's second largest and most beautiful reservoir, Patoka Lake, is approximately 15 miles away. The eleven-mile long lake offers great boating, nine public
boat ramps, boat rentals, picnic areas, a beach, paved bicycle
trails, a nature center with guided nature hikes, an 18-hole disc golf course, and much
more.
A
Lost Resort in French Lick is also convenient to several great trails in Hoosier
National Forest, where you can enjoy hiking, biking and horseback. The
slopes of Paoli Peaks ski resort are only
a 15 minute drive. The beautiful Blue River, where you
can enjoy canoeing and kayaking, is just 40 minutes away.

deer are plentiful in the area. If you are careful you are
sure to see the whitetails grazing on the property as they
graze on the hillside. An outside campfire bowl is available
for cool evenings in the spring and fall.
