Come and enjoy yourself at A Lost Resort
in French Lick, our cozy retreat located just a few
minutes from French Lick, Indiana. If you are looking for
a place to get away from the normal hustle and bustle, then
this is the place for you. What was once a barn is now the
perfect getaway! Nestled on 11 acres in the hills of beautiful
Southern Indiana is our 600 square foot cozy retreat.
As
you enter the front door you will quickly see that this not
an ordinary barn. It now houses a remodeled kitchen with a
dining area. Above the dining area is a loft for sleeping,
(yes, you have to use a barn ladder to get there). In the
adjacent room is the combined family/sleeping area with a
full size bed and love seat. Enjoy watching satellite TV or
warming up to the gas log fireplace.
You don’t have to hit the cattle trough to get cleaned
up. There is a brand new bath including a shower. The entire
bath is lined with cedar, and the original sliding stall door
must be shut for privacy.
You will also have access to over 1500 square feet of barn
space where you can park your car, boat or motorcycle during
your stay. Exit the side barn door into the 500 square foot
covered patio. There is a picnic table, swing and wood burning
bowl available for your enjoyment.
You
are almost guaranteed a visit from some type of wildlife including
birds, raccoons, turkey and especially the many whitetail
deer that come to visit the pond, which is located just a
short walk away. From the pond, just look east and enjoy one
of the most breathtaking views in Southern Indiana - the beautiful
view of Mt. Airie.
