In order to help preserve the retreat:
- NO Smoking allowed in the living quarters.
Smoking is only allowed in the barn area and covered area
around the cabin.
- Pets are allowed, but must stay in Barn
area only.

trails. The cabin is approximately 15 miles from Patoka
Lake, Indiana's second largest and most beautiful
lake. The historic towns of French Lick and
West Baden are just down the road, and the
slopes of Paoli Peaks ski resort are only
a fifteen minute drive. The beautiful Blue River, where you
can enjoy canoeing and kayaking, is just forty minutes away.

deer are plentiful in the area. If you are careful you are
sure to see the whitetails grazing on the property as they
graze on the hillside. An outside campfire bowl is available
for cool evenings in the spring and fall.
Visitors to the area can enjoy eleven-mile long Patoka
Lake. There you can find great boating, many public
boat ramps, boat rentals, picnic areas, a beach, paved bicycle
trails, a nature center with guided nature hikes, and much
more.
